Day one was the day of departure for me to visit Nakon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University. It took 3 flights from Magetan, my home to Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University. My flight was from solo-Jakarta, Jakarta-Bangkok then Bangkok-Nakhon si Thammarat. long journey. I departed from Magetan at 2 pm on January 8, 2019, and arrived at NST airport at 1:50 am on January 9, 2018. Can you imagine how tired it is, but I am Really excited, so I only feel a little tired. actually, the flight from Solo Jakarta only need 1 hour, Jakarta Bangkok requires 3.5 hours and Bangkok NST only spent 1 hour. but it was indeed a different flight schedule, so I had to wait for a long time, especially for the waiting time for Jakarta's - Bangkok flights need to wait throughout the night. Luckily I have a family that lived 15 minutes from Soekarno-Hatta airport so I don't need to sleep at the airport. thank you for the kindness of my family :). arrived at the NST airport I was picked up by a car by Mrs. Sutawan Chaisang who was usually called Ma'am Nadia who was the NSTRU coordinator. Arrived NSTRU I was greeted by Pop, she will be my buddy and her friend. they were very friendly to welcome me and happy to help carry my luggage weighing 15 kilos to the third floor of the NSTRU dormitory building C. I am very grateful, friend :). I got the C323 room number and the room was very clean and comfortable, there was a sink, a dishwasher, toilet, 2 2-level bedrooms with large closets, study tables, and also a cabinet for storing books. the first thing when I arrived to open the suitcase and tidy up the clothes to the closet. after that, Pop drove me to look for lunch in the NSTRU cafeteria. and glad that there is some halal stall here. I am truly grateful. The night, friends from the Philippines came, Carla, Krisha, they became my neighbor's room, the room was located right in front of my room. then we went to the night market located across from NSTRU, to find dinner and also look for a new sim card. the most relieving thing for me for a few hours at Nakhon Si Thammarat is the price of food that is not too expensive and may approach the cost of living in Indonesia sim card prices and data packages in Nakhon Si Thammarat are also quite cheap, new friends and don't forget a lot of halal food. This was the first experience in a foreign country that I had never imagined.
Day Two (10/01/2019)
The second day we came to the opening ceremony as well as meeting and meet the staff of NSTR and also from Satit Demonstration School. In the opening ceremony, we got souvenirs from the NSTRU. They are very friendly. Then, after opening ceremonial we took a picture together in front of Satit Demonstration School
After that Teacher Jesille accompanied us to explore EP (English Program) classroom started from EP 6 to EP 1 and she also introduction us with teachers in EP program, an almost foreign teacher in here are from the Philippines, and one teacher from Pakistan. My mentor is Teacher Ben, he is one of the Philippines teachers. He also handling EP 2. and I hope we will become a good partner. at 4 pm ma'am Nadia took me to the Immigration office to take care of our document during we stay in Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Day Three (11/01/2019)
This time is my first observation in class. But before the lesson begins students must do a flag ceremony and pray together. I observed class EP 2 with Teacher Ben as my mentor. The first lesson I saw in class EP 2 was Thailand. In Satit Demonstration School, the lesson takes one hour for one subject. and EP 2 really conducive. And the students are really cute in the first lesson. Next, teacher Ben has an English class in 4/3 class. But I don't know why the students were very noisy. But fortunately, they understood the material the teacher taught them. Today teacher ben teaching reading comprehension for 4/3 class and I also help him to handle students reading the textbook.
At 11 am Teacher Ben teaches EP 2. But what is making me shock are EP 2 when I saw in the morning in with Thailand teacher is different in English lesson with teacher ben. When teacher Ben teaches them, I don't know why they are really noisy. They converse with their friends in their language without thinking that their teacher is in front of them. And finally the class become very crowded although teacher Ben had tried to make them not be noisy. only a few students who want to listen to him. OMG, It's a really hard day.
After long hours of observation, Miss Nadia brought us to a restaurant and the food there is very nice, at the same time cheap and also halal food. And I really enjoy the food thanks, Ma'am Nadia.

Saturday, January 12, 2018, my friends and sea-teacher program from NSTRU felt a trip around the city of Nst, accompanied by teacher Felix who was one of the teachers at the Demonstration school. We toured the city starting at 10 am using a Thai public transportation called Song Thew. The first thing we visit is China town. Then we went to one of the shopping centers called Sahatani. We also visited the Nakhon Si Thammarat Nasional Museum. Because Teacher Felix, a Filipino and the tour guide there could not speak English, so we looked at the things there by just reading the display information, fortunately, its available in English, but I still did not understand: ').
After visiting the museum we visit a shopping center called the central park. They sell NST souvenirs with affordable prices. Yes, even though I don't intend to buy something and end up just look around. And the tour ends around the night market which only open every Saturday night. At the Prathat night market. I tried various kinds of insects like sago caterpillar, cricket and grasshopper and it tastes delicious but my Filipino friends don't like it. We arrived at the dorm at 9:00 a.m. Because we were wrongly dropped. It should have got off at gate 3, but we got off at the main gate so we have to walk to the dorm. At dorm we met new friends and one of them could speak Indonesian, I am so excited, even though she said that she able to speak little. Today is a tiring day but very exciting. Thank you, Filipino friends, who took the initiative to take this trip, an thank you teacher Felix who wants to be our tour guide today.

Sunday instead of pulling in the dorm, Pop one of our buddies invited us to go to Sahathani again for lunch. Riding on the song thew, we roam the long road of NST. Our lunch today is fried rice and I swear the fried rice it tastes like my Mother's fried rice, make me remember my mother, I miss you mom :’). After lunch, we went around Sathani and ended with Carla and Krisha buying french fries and ice cream. They say that most Filipinos eat french fries with ice cream as snacks. Then they offered me to taste it. and in my tongue, the taste not as I expected, forgive me my Filipinos friend. salty french fries with sweet vanilla ice cream don't fit on my 'deso' tongue: '). We arrived at NSTRU at 3 pm because Pop has something to do, so we ended our trip quickly.

After one day trip, I fe,lt really tired so I decided to stay at the dorm and need a good rest :). But at lunchtime my Filipino friends and I have the plan to give snacks for our buddies because during we live in NSTRU they always help us and very accommodating. the snacks like a small gift for our buddies. At the evening, all of us, with our buddies, bought something for dinner and something we can use for our materials in teaching.
Day Thirteen

Today should be the first day for me to teach after mid-term. But at the last meeting, Ajarn May inform that my mentor has to do an evaluation in my English time so I will start teaching tomorrow. But I'm still waiting in the classroom and do my lesson plan and my teaching material.
After class, together with the buddies, we all went to the market as usual to buy some ingredients. My Filipino friends want to cook food that I know the food called tinola. Then we eat together and enjoyed our dinner.
Day Fourteen: First Day

Today is my first time to teach EP 2 with the topic in the store. I started by greeting and review phonic 'oa and oe' sounds. Then continue with English time book. When I ask some questions, they can answer my questions really fast and correct. I get a suggestion from my mentor that I should give more brainstorming. And I admit that I less in brainstorming because this is my first time to teach them and I'm still nervous.
So after class, I worked for my instructional materials for my next class tomorrow, the same topic but now different kinds of activities.
